Your car air conditioning system loses up to 20% of its refrigerant every year. This can be caused by not using your A/C system. A poorly performing car air conditioning system can cause a build up of bacteria and other microbes growing inside the evaporator core causing a smell, sometimes an allergic reaction.

You should have your car air con system serviced every 18 months – it will state this in your car manufacturers service guide, if possible try to use your air conditioning system once or twice a week, even in the winter this will help stem the loss of A/C gas.

A Cambelt or what is sometimes known as a 'Timing Belt' change is one of the most important maintenance aspects for your car. If you neglect it – it could result in major engine damage.

V.A.G. Technik recommends changing your cambelt approximately every 60,000 to 80,000 miles or 4/5 years depending on the engine type. Your service manual will tell you the correct mileage for your cambelt change. If you are unsure don’t hesitate to contact us directly for advice or a quote
